I am a lover of Christ, music, great sound (audio), great movies, and I love being at home either in the studio recording music, watching a movie, or enjoying my pipe or a good cigar from time to time. The Lord has blessed me with the desire to seek the truth in all things related to His word, His character, and His will. As a result, I believe that I am at Grace Community Church for the sole purpose of edifying the believers, supporting Pastor Jon in any way, and doing my part in helping the GCC family, as a whole, realize it's purpose, and to also bring it to fruition, under Jon's leadership. It is my job to lead the body of Christ at GCC to the worship of God through music, which is just a part of the "whole" of worshiping in spirit and in truth, as this is what He seeks (John 4:24-25). May He continue to conform me into His image, and may that be reflected in a life of worship that spills out to His people! To Him be the glory forever and ever - Amen! |

I am the Youth Pastor for GCC. I also help Pastor Jon as he requests. The plan is for me to start helping with more administrative duties in the future. I grew up in Winter Garden, 3 houses down from Pastor Jon. After High school, I attended Valencia Community College, then moved to Miami where I attended FIU. I ended up here and Clermont, and we're here to stay! I started in ministry in 1982. I worked for Baptist Campus Ministries as a Student Director. I lived on the University of Miami campus and organized college student Bible studies at nine Miami college campuses. My Supervisor became pastor of Wayside Baptist Church, a large church of about 2500 in south Miami. He brought me on staff as College and Career Director, where I stayed until I graduated and moved out of the Miami area. I did not re-enter paid ministry again until I became Youth Pastor of the Nazarene Church in Clermont. I recently finished seminary with my Masters in Ministry. Now I'm at GCC and hope to serve for many years to come. |

I live and rest daily in the Grace of God; I am living the blessings of God with and through my family; I am living the blessings of God with and through my co-laborers at GCC, I am living the blessings of God with and through the local body of believers. I am a man abundantly blessed by a loving Heavenly Father! My interest in preaching started at a very early age. Even before I entered grade school, I would turn an orange crate on end and conduct “church services.” Sometimes some of the neighbors would attend, other times the only attendee would be my dog, Ginger. But then, as a teenager I rebelled from God, the church, my parents, etc. I thank God that He did not give up on me and brought me to repentance at age 17. Since that time, little has turned out according to my plans; and what a good thing! I have served pastorates in Homer, GA, Orlando, FL, Altoona, PA, and now, Clermont, FL. I have never been more fulfilled than I am in my current calling. I am the primary pulpit minister in our church which requires that I spend a lot of time in study and prayer. As senior pastor, it is important that I provide encouragement and vision for the overall ministry. God has brought fellow pastors Brooke and Sam to serve with me in ministry and has allowed us to become true partners: we strive together, pray together, hurt together, and experience God’s great love together. Not only are we committed to serve the church together, we are committed to love and support each other. I have had much ambition throughout my life. Thankfully, my only ambition now is to bring glory to the only One who deserves glory—Jesus Christ the Lord. |
